My grandson has been going to this school since he was 2. He is now 4 years old, and I cannot say enough good things about this school. When I toured other preschools with my daughter, one thing about this school that sets it apart is that the kids are not stuck in their classrooms all day. They have other rooms for other activities. The rooms are all clean and organized.

He started as a scared, shy 2 year old and is now a social butterfly. As a 4 year old he is ready to go to kindergarten. The school has prepared him with all the tools for the next milestone. But lucky for us he can stay here one more year.

The teachers are great and they really take care of my grandson like their own.

If you are looking for a preschool, take a tour and see for yourself.

I love this school. I enrolled my son when he was two years old. Now he is 4. I can’t believe the things he can do. He can write his name, write the whole alphabet, write numbers, do addition, and read. He wouldn’t listen to us during potty training, but with the help of the school, he is fully potty trained. The school has done wonders for him academically and socially. Because of this school, he is well-behaved and listens to teachers in his extracurricular activities, soccer and swimming. The teachers are great.

They provide daily reports to tell you how your kid did that day. Lunch is also provided every day. My daughter will be turning two in November, and I can’t wait to enroll her in, too.

It’s a great place for children. Lunch and snacks are included for low, affordable prices. The staff is friendly and gives daily reports on your child’s day. The daycare itself is safe and secure. There are multiple rooms for children to learn and a large indoor playground. My son has developed a lot since attending last year and looks forward to going each day!

My sister-in-law referred me to this preschool after we discussed wanting to place my daughter in a school before she heads off to Kindergarten. I sent an email inquiring if there was any availability, and a few days later, I received a call inviting me to see the school and to bring my daughter with me to see if she would like it.

They were very friendly and answered all of my questions. It was nice to see how the school operates during the day and what curriculum they use for each age group. My daughter said she loved it and wanted to attend right away.

All the teachers are so personable and nice; I feel they care about my kid. There was a time when my daughter informed me that she was upset during their snack break one day and she drew a picture expressing how she felt. She showed it to all the teachers the next day and I received a call to talk more about what my daughter was feeling and what may be the cause of it. Several hours later, she called me back and told me they may have found out why my daughter was upset. It felt reassuring that they cared about her, how she felt, and what they could do to ensure that my daughter felt seen and heard.

I love how they provide the kids with snacks and lunches (if full-time). I also love how when I pick up my daughter, I get a daily report about her disposition, when she napped, how much lunch she ate, and what she worked on that day. It gives me an insight into her day and allows me to talk to my daughter about her school day.

I’m so glad that my daughter attends The Early Years Preschool—it was one of the best decisions I’ve made.

My son loves this school, and my daughter (who’s in 1st grade) wishes she had attended this preschool. I like the idea that the kids are able to rotate throughout the school. Everyone knows who’s who.

Hands down the best preschool out there!!! The staff and teachers are amazing, and the program is organized in a way that allows the children to rotate through different themed rooms. My twins have learned so much already, and it’s only been a little over a month. They keep the parents informed by providing daily sheets that tell you how much they ate, how long they napped, what they did that day, and what their disposition was during class time (i.e., happy, talkative, outgoing, etc). They provide nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day. I love that they provide a monthly menu so you know exactly what your kids are eating. I can go on and on, but I am truly lucky to have found such a great preschool for my twins!!

My son has been with The Early Years since he was 2, and I am glad we decided to enroll him here. Compared to other schools, they have different rooms, and the kids are not stuck in their classrooms all day. I have seen other schools where kids have all their materials and toys in only one room, and sometimes, they eat lunch in their classroom. There is no separate lunch room. Here, their setup is similar to kindergarten. My son doesn’t even want to graduate and leave.

The teachers are great and have been in the school for a long time.

If you are looking for a preschool in the South San Francisco Biotech hub, please, please – PLEASE – check out The Early Years Preschool. This is truly a wonderful hidden gem of a place. The staff, teachers, children, and parents provide an amazing experience for the little ones and their families. My oldest (five) has attended for two years. He went from crying every day when we dropped him off (at a previous daycare) to running into the school (without a goodbye!). This change is a credit to EVERYONE that fosters this great environment at The Early Years.

The school also thinks of the parents’ needs, providing snacks, lunch, and little bedrolls for all the children (literally fewer things for me to forget). They give small daily reports for the children to bring home, providing a glimpse of how your child’s day went.

Thanks to his teachers, my pre-K baby is now ready to go to kindergarten. But really, ALL the staff helped foster his love of reading and creativity. Everything he’s learned here has been incredibly rewarding and pleasantly surprising. Not only does he play well (now) with others, but he has become such a social butterfly that my spouse and I wonder where that special gene came from (not the introverted adults he calls mom and dad).

I am grateful to have found this school, which is the consensus amongst the parents and guardians I have met through The Early Years. The experience has been positive, especially with my little monster listening AND respecting his teachers and peers. I hope my youngest (two) will grow and become his own under his teacher’s guidance.

Again, please add this school to your list and check it out. The Early Years Preschool WILL win you over.

My grandson currently goes to this school, which he started when he was 2. This school has done an exceptional job developing his toddler milestones. He has become more independent, and his vocabulary has grown. I would recommend any parent send their kids here, especially at 2 years old.

My son has been attending Early Years since August 2016. I toured many schools and was getting very discouraged until I found TEY! My cousin sent her kids there, who have long graduated and said wonderful things. The staff seems to truly care about the kids and their well-being. The facility is very clean and organized. They have different rooms for different activities. I like that the classes are separated according to age and that throughout the day, they are rotating activities. My son LOVES it. I drop him off, and he’s like, “”BYE MOMMY!”” Hahahaha. I feel very comfortable and confident that he is taken care of.

I have to agree with all the favorable comments. My son went here for 2 years and it was a great experience. The staff is attentive and professional. My son learned a lot there, such that when we started kindergarten this year, he was ahead of his pack or, at the very least, comfortable and confident in everything he was expected to do in class. Early Years jump-started his education and social skills, and we have zero regrets about picking this preschool over others. Best regards to the whole staff.

My two kids went to Early Years, and I love the teachers there, especially the director. The early reviews said it all. The faculty is like one big family, and most of the teachers have been there for a long time. I like the fact that if it rains, the kids can play in the big room set up like an indoor yard. Also, this place is so clean. If you like a structured program, then this preschool is for you.

My oldest child started here when he was 2 and is now 5. He loves this school and has learned so much, and I know he’s fully ready for kindergarten. He’s learned ABCs, numbers, counting, planets, and the significance of national holidays (MLK, Presidents Day, etc.). They do so many activities that he’s never bored (I want to say they switch to a new activity every 20 minutes, which I think is great for younger children).

Tuition includes a snack and lunch at a very affordable price. The teachers are so incredibly nice and have been with the school for a long time. I can’t say enough great things.

Now, my younger child is going to school, and she loves going to school. I can see how she is so much more social and talkative.

The Early Years is a gem!! I’m surprised the enrollment is not at full capacity. When we were touring different daycares, The Early Years outshined the rest. It’s educational-based, with tons of playtime. The kids change rooms throughout the day, so they are not stuck in the same room all day, which I really like. They have a garden, an outdoor playground, and an indoor playground, which is great for rainy days. The kids picked apples from the tree and brought them home. Healthy lunch and snacks are provided, too. The staff is amazing—they truly care about the children and their development. Our son is thriving and enjoys going to “”school”” every day. We do not live in the area where the daycare is located, but it is worth the drive.

We attended this school for five+ years with two children. I couldn’t rate our experience higher, and I strongly recommend this preschool to anyone in the market for such a school. The programs are focused on developing inter-social skills and making friends, which is very appropriate for that age. They also give a great foundation for beginning kindergarten. Our children have received an excellent foundation for starting their elementary school.

The staff and administration are wonderful and really have a passion for early childhood education. A number of teachers have been there for years – and it is a testament to their special character and patience. The decibel level of children happily playing every day is certainly more than I could handle on a regular basis. The attendance hours are very customizable to your schedule. The very reasonable tuition prices that TEY offered enabled us to save enough to have some luxuries that we would not have otherwise been able to afford – while still providing our kids with a quality preschool experience.

I highly recommend it. Thank you TEY for providing our kids with a fantastic experience.

This is the best preschool ever! Before I sent my twins here 2 years ago, I visited several schools and instantly knew this was the school for my little ones. This school is just the right size, with about 70 students, and their teaching style is warm and loving. This was exactly what I was looking for, and they believe in mixed classes which was great for my kids to interact with bigger and smaller kids. They rotate from room to room throughout the day, each teacher gets to know every student, and the kids spend focused time on activities such as art, skill building, etc.

Our son has attended The Early Years for almost two years, and we will be so sad to see him leave (for kindergarten in a few months). The teachers, the curriculum, and the philosophy are all great. He learns so much, especially how to interact well with other kids, and he is so happy here. I can’t say enough good things about it!

I sent my twins here after reading all the positive feedback. This school continuously amazes me with the different kinds of activities that the children get to participate in. They have special events for all the major celebrations for different cultures, such as Cinco de Mayo, Chinese New Year, etc. Even kids who are not enrolled for that day are invited to attend. They also send home daily reports to inform you about your child’s day, which I think is awesome. All the teachers are extremely nice and experienced. They have really helped my children build their self-confidence.
